A woman who accused GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump of raping her when she was 13 has dropped her lawsuit against him, her attorney said Friday.
“Jane Doe instructed us to dismiss her lawsuit against Trump and Epstein today,” attorney Lisa Bloom tweeted on Friday, with a link to a notice of voluntary dismissal. “Tough week for her. We wish her well.”
Bloom went on to add, “Every woman makes her own choice about what is best for her. Life’s a journey. Most of us get stronger as we get older. I respect women.”
The dismissal of the suit comes following a tumultuous few days for the accuser, who claimed in her lawsuit, filed in April, that Trump and financier Jeffrey Epstein made her a sex slave in 1994 when she was 13.

On Wednesday, the unnamed plaintiff was scheduled to give a press conference, which was canceled at the last minute.
“Jane Doe has received numerous threats today, as have all the Trump accusers that I’ve represented,” Bloom said before a throng of reporters. “She is living in fear, she has decided that she is too afraid to show her face. She has been here all day, ready to do it, but unfortunately, she is in terrible fear. So we’re going to have to reschedule.”
The lawsuit alleged that Doe “was enticed by promises of money and a modeling career to attend a series of underage sex parties” held at Epstein’s New York City residence.
Trump denied the allegations, as well as other allegations of misconduct made by other women.
Following the abandoned lawsuit, Bloom claimed that her website had been hacked by Anonymous.
