End Police Misconduct by Ending Qualified Immunity

I've read a lot of theories as to why so many American cops are thugs and bullies but nothing I have read really explains why so many American cops are thugs and bullies. American police are thugs and bullies for the same reason there are fights in hockey, it's allowed. Why they do it really doesn't matter much. What really matters is stopping them from their criminal behavior. The solution is simple. Remove their qualified immunity for starts. But ending immunity for cops should not stop with cops. Cops take their marching orders from, prosecutors and judges. They need to lose their immunity as well. When the people of the criminal justice system are above the law you get a police state which is what we have now in the US.

The American criminal justice system should be called the American criminal justice industry because that is exactly what is it. The Bill of Rights is not worth the paper on which it is written. About 15 years ago Congressman Ron Paul said that the US, because of corporatism, the US is under soft fascism. Not long after that President Carter said the US in no longer a functioning democracy. Since the statements of President Jimmy Carter and Ron Paul American democracy is more dysfunctional and as we can see, the soft fascism is setting like concrete and getting harder by the minute.

The anger toward the police is justified but a bit misplaced. American Police are merely the foot soldiers of the American ruling class. Police and prosecutors turn a blind eye the crimes and depravity of their masters. We see this at every level of government, from the rich parents who bribe cops and judges when their kids break the law to the Caligula types such as the Alan Dershowitzs, Jeffery Epsteins, Prince Andrews, and Donald Trumps of the world. Just as heat and energy are mutually convertible so is money and power.

Qualified immunity will not end as long as the courts are full of unscrupulous morally depraved judges such as Clarence Thomas and Brett Kavanaugh who themselves are above the law.  Robespierre said, Peoples do not judge in the same way as courts of law; they do not hand down sentences, they throw thunderbolts; they do not condemn kings, they drop them back into the void; and this justice is worth just as much as that of the courts.”

Will it come to that? Will the peasants rise up and recognize their true oppressors and kick them back into the void?  Time will tell.
