Nothing serious had been going on with my three previous Garmins. As for the eTrex 30, it could have been something, but is really dragged down in the mud by poor and inconsistently working firmware.

Oct 07, 2015 · Garmin products suck. I just got an Edge 810. Spent two hours downloading a map to an SD card. The device cannot locate the map to enable it even though the .img file shows up on the device when connected to the computer.

Jun 19, 2014 · Re Garmin units we have a 60CSx, Oregon 450, three 62S units, an Etrex and a couple others. On the 450 and 62S I bought a little too soon but in a month or so a firmware upgrade took care of my problem. I think Garmin makes a VERY good unit and is currently king of the hill.

My op ed: Does this come as any surprise? The turn over in the Trump Whitehouse is unprecedented. Any competent person who started in the Trump Whitehouse either quit or was fired. White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham had a "turbulent ascent" to her current role, according to a New York Times report, which included two arrests for driving under the influence — one of which while working for Donald Trump's 2016 campaign.

She was arrested for driving under the influence, speeding, and driving with an invalid license in 2013, according to the report, and the charges were later reduced to reckless driving. Grisham was also arrested for driving under the influence in December 2015, ultimately pleading guilty. She paid a fine and was ordered by the court into a treatment program.

Grisham told the Times she "complied with all sanctions and disclosed both episodes to the White House."

Grisham entered the political world by way of Arizona, working as a spokesperson for the attorney general in the state as well as Republicans in the state legislature. She also worked as a press aide on Mitt Romney's 2012 campaign for president.

Prior to that, she worked for the AAA auto club in Arizona as well as the ad agency Mindspace.

Grisham reportedly left AAA after facing allegations of filing false claims for travel and other expenses and lost the job at Mindspace for plagiarism.

A spokesperson for AAA declined to discuss personnel matters with the Times, and the founder of the ad agency confirmed Grisham was a former employee but would not elaborate on the circumstances of her departure.

Grisham did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Insider.

They don't call Joe Walsh crazy Joe Walsh for nothing. If he gets his Irish up he may even step across the stage and knock the crap of that that fat orange gas bag. Since Republican voters have less sophistication than juvenile pro wrestling fans and good beat down could turn Walsh from a heel to a baby face. Proud Boys Leader Admits Their Rallies Are For Fighting And Wasting Money

The Proud Boys for years have helped organize street fights in Portland, Oregon ― gatherings thinly veiled as political freedom rallies in order to secure permits or police escorts from the city.

This week, that veil was lifted, as the group’s leader admitted the ugly and obvious truth: The events are staged with the intention of spurring fights, wasting city resources and winning a game of optics against their anti-fascist nemeses.

“We’ve wasted all their fucking resources to make this rally,” Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio said in video captured during the latest extremist rally held Saturday in Portland. “We want them to waste $2 million and we’ll do it again in two months.” 

Latent homosexuals Tarrio and fellow Proud Boys leader Joe Biggs flew to Portland from Florida to host the rally, and fears among city officials about the potential chaos caused them to warn local businesses to close for the day. Meanwhile, a multi-jurisdictional police force of 700 was deployed, according to The Oregonian.

The closures cost local restaurants and other businesses an estimated $3 million in revenue, and taxpayers will likely be on the hook for millions more due to the police response, the paper reported.

Fewer violent clashes broke out than in previous iterations of the rally, in part because police spent the day escorting and defending the Proud Boys and members of their local punch-happy cousin, the Patriot Prayer. But the Proud Boys were also keenly aware that the nation was watching ― Treason President Donald Trump tweeted just before the rally began that he would be on the lookout for violence committed by anti-fascists in order to designate “ANTIFA an ORGANIZATION OF TERROR.”

As the rally kicked off, Tarrio was caught on video ordering his gang members to forego the fighting. On this day, nobody would be earning their “fourth degree” ― a rank given to those Proud Boys who assault anti-fascists.

“This is a pure optics operation,” Tarrio said in front of a group of Proud Boys. “If you’re looking for fourth degrees this is not the event to do it.”

Rather than attack protesters ― as they’ve planned to do in the past ― the Proud Boys retreated across the Willamette River and then left the city, announcing on their way out a new campaign to waste Portland’s time and revenue, an apparent political maneuver aimed at Mayor Ted Wheeler.

“The gathering was never about bringing carnage or violence to the city of Portland, it was about financially crippling the progressive hotbed until they take action against antifa,” the gang said in a press release.

This appears to be the first public admission by the Proud Boys that the group’s aim is to hobble Wheeler’s administration. The mayor has allowed these rallies to go on in the name of free speech, despite acknowledging that violence is often the only item on the agenda.

It’s unclear whether the newfound transparency will have any impact on future demonstrations. In a response to HuffPost, Wheeler decried Tarrio’s statements but didn’t say whether he’d allow the group to continue to host the events in Portland:

“I have one clear message to anyone who says they’re going to continue wasting the city’s resources over and over again: Stop wasting our time. Stop wasting taxpayer dollars. Stop hurting our businesses. We have a city to run and lives to lead,” he said.

Although Tarrio on the video mentions another rally planned for October, no city permits have been issued as yet for such a gathering.

2. If he was suicidal he would have been kept on suicide watch and he wasn't. There is NO WAY

4. There was screaming coming from his cell hours before his death and nobody checked on him.

5. Bones were broken in his neck. That is highly unlikely. There is a remote possibility that 

suicidal hanging can break the hyoid bone but Jeffrey Epstein’s neck was broken in multiple places ...

6. Epstein was put in a cell alone which is unusual for someone who is suicidal.

7. Epstein may have been involved in international espionage.

In July 2006, the FBI began its own investigation of Epstein, nicknamed "Operation Leap Year". It resulted in a 53-page indictment in June 2007 that was never presented to a grand jury.^[56] Alexander Acosta, then the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, agreed to a plea deal to grant immunity from all federal criminal charges to Epstein, along with four named co-conspirators and any unnamed "potential co-conspirators". According to the Miami Herald, the non-prosecution agreement "essentially shut down an ongoing FBI probe into whether there were more victims and other powerful people who took part in Epstein's sex crimes". At the time, this halted the investigation and sealed the indictment. The Miami Herald said: "Acosta agreed, despite a federal law to the contrary, that the deal would be kept from the victims."^[6]

Acosta later said he offered a lenient plea deal because he was told that Epstein "belonged to intelligence", was "above his pay grade" and to "leave it alone".^[40] Epstein agreed to plead guilty in Florida state court to two felony prostitution charges, register as a sex offender, and pay restitution to three dozen victims identified by the FBI.^[6][73]

The bones in the neck include the hyoid bone and the cervical vertebrae. There could not have been enough force to break the vertebrae and probably now break the hyoid bone. His injuries are consistent with a violent attack. 

"Among the bones broken in Epstein's neck was the hyoid bone, which in men is near the Adam’s apple," The Washington Post reported. "Such breaks can occur in those who hang themselves, particularly if they are older, according to forensics experts and studies on the subject. But they are more common in victims of homicide by strangulation, the experts said."

The New York Post reported on Monday that Epstein "was found hanging in his lower Manhattan jail cell with a bedsheet wrapped around his neck and secured to the top of a bunk bed" and "apparently killed himself by kneeling toward the floor and strangling himself."

My Op Ed: I call BULLcrap. If he had hung himself from a bunk bed there could not have been sufficient force generated to break any bones in his neck and probably not even the hyoid bone.
